An outstanding 98% of our 2021 Year 11 leavers are currently* attending their post-16 placements and, an excellent, 92% of all our leavers are currently* attending their education, training or employment places.
Indeed, the last two years have witnessed the highest confirmed Year 11 destination figures ever at Goldwyn!
The government announced that school results and performance data would not be published in autumn 2020 or autumn 2021, but we wish to celebrate and congratulate our students for achieving an excellent set of results.
Our year 11 students achieved 327 GCSE, Level 1 and 2 results, with an outstanding 32% of students achieving a grade 4 (equivalent) or above in English and 36% in maths.
2020-21 was the first Year that Goldwyn had a sixth form and we are pleased to report that 78% of our 6th form leavers achieved Level 1 or 2 passes in their main vocational subject. Our 6th Form retention rate this year is 85% with 0 NEET
The vast majority of our students showed remarkable achievements in 2019.
In English, 89% of Goldwyn Ashford and Folkestone students made Good or Outstanding progress between KS3 & 4 (Goldwyn Criteria) in 2018/19; 81% of students made Good or Outstanding progress across the whole of Goldwyn. In maths, 83% of Goldwyn Ashford and Folkestone students made Good or Outstanding progress overall (Goldwyn Criteria); 78% of students made Good or Outstanding progress across the whole of Goldwyn.
Goldwyn Ashford & Folkestone students achieved 178 GCSE & equivalent (263 G. all) qualifications at an average of 10 (7 G. all) per student, 33% (24% G. all) of them achieving a grade 4 or equivalent in English and 7% (13% G. all) a grade 4 or equivalent in maths.
In terms of destinations, 92% of Goldwyn students are currently attending their post 16 placements.
