Goldwyn is a pioneering and "world-class" school which provides an exciting, highly aspirational and creative educational opportunity for students who have a "learning difference". Every child at Goldwyn is unique and it is our mission to design a learning pathway that reflects high academic aspirations as well as encouraging students’ inherent talents, through music, art, languages, technology, science, sport, vocational training and much more.
The Goldwyn leaders and all our staff are inspirational, committed to providing a happy, secure and stimulating school in which students enjoy their learning. We provide an education, which develops the whole child, academically, socially and emotionally. We focus our energies on ensuring that all children are able to achieve the very best that they can.
We place great importance on a strong partnership between school and home. We welcome this strong relationship, which encourages children’s’ development, achievement and aspirations for a happy and successful future.
Goldwyn provides a friendly, happy and hardworking educational experience, built upon positive and supportive relationships where respect for others and positive attitudes towards work and behaviour are encouraged and nurtured.
Goldwyn School consists of 4 inclusive centres: Goldwyn Ashford; Goldwyn Folkestone, Goldwyn Plus - Ashford & Folkestone and Goldwyn Sixth Form - Ashford & Folkestone.
Goldwyn also hosts the area Specialist Teaching and Learning Service who work with children and professionals in local primary & secondary schools and early year's settings.
