The catering staff provide hot and cold snacks at break-time and a choice of meals or sandwiches and salads at lunchtime. We have two sittings operated by the Unit / Hub managers and their teams. Most teaching and learning support staff choose to eat with the students and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.
School Meals currently cost £2.40 per day. For information about free school meals please visit kent.gov.uk/freeschoolmeals
Goldwyn School also operates a free breakfast club available for all students on their arrival to school.

Update on Natasha’s Law
The school has been working with Nourish, our School’s main catering provider, to ensure that we are ready for the new rules brought in by Natasha’s Law.
The required changes include providing full ingredient labelling on any foods prepacked for direct sale. This requirement does not apply to food that is not in packaging or is packaged after the child orders it, for example made to order sandwiches, however the school and catering teams will continue to keep records of allergies for all students and food ingredients/allergens information will be made available to students either via the school menu or verbally via staff on request.
If you require us to update the allergy information the school holds for your child, or would like to check them, please contact the school.
Goldwyn School continues to be a Flagship School (November 2022)
