We would like to celebrate our student achievements beyond Goldwyn; we hope that we have had some influence on the journey our students take beyond Goldwyn.
Please contact us if you would like to share your journey and inspire others. headteacher@goldwyn.kent.sch.uk
A quote taken from a parent;
‘Goldwyn not only delivered my sons secondary education- they shaped the young man he never believed he could be, made him see potential he never knew he had- thank you’
Celebrating Our Goldwyn Alumni
At Goldwyn School, we are incredibly proud of the young people who leave us—not just for what they achieve, but for who they become. Each student’s journey is unique, often shaped by overcoming significant barriers, and their success is a powerful reflection of resilience, determination, and self-belief.
We are delighted to celebrate just some of our former students and the incredible pathways they have gone on to pursue:
- Nate A. – now a fully qualified accountant
- Flynn C. – completed an apprenticeship in horticulture and now works as a grounds maintenance operative
- Oliver T. – now a car dealer at Volkswagen, previously working as an estate agent
- Freddie C. – has started an apprenticeship with Renault
- Jack B. – working as a bricklayer
- Ralphie G. – training to become a social worker at university
- Elli G. – studying for a Biomedical degree
- Katlyn H. – once unable to access school regularly, now attending college full-time, five days a week
- Summer M. – previously unable to work in groups, now completing a Level 3 in Hairdressing at college
- Rob M. – now self-employed, running his own business
- Estalita A. – progressed to university
- Ellie B. – completed an apprenticeship with Mercedes and is now studying Business at university
- Jack M. – a fully qualified electrician
- Alex V. – completing a Level 3 at college with employment secured upon completion
- Leelan W. – successfully completed an apprenticeship
- Lacey R. – progressed directly onto a Level 3 Hair course
- Mac – studying Music Technology at college and has worked as a sound technician at the Isle of Wight Festival
These journeys reflect the very essence of Goldwyn—supporting young people to overcome barriers, find their strengths, and build meaningful futures.
As we often remind our students:
- “Believe you can, and you’re halfway there.”
- “Success is not about where you start, but the courage to keep going.”
We are immensely proud of every one of our students. Their success is our success—and their futures continue to inspire the next generation of Goldwyn learners.
